Roger St-Denis is an award winning composer and French-Canadian voice-over artist.  His 30 years of expertise is unique in its cross-disciplinary blend of knowledge and resources.

You have most likely heard him as the “Welcome aboard” voice over announcer on all Air Canada flights for the past 10 years, or on many TV & Radio Ads (Toyota, Coca-Cola, NHL) as well as on hundreds of film trailers, including Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Fault in Our Stars, The Jersey Boys, Harry Potter, The Help and The Hundred Foot Journey.

He’s received accolades in the advertising industry from the CLIO awards for his Musical Jingles which brought him the opportunity to work in music studios with a variety of performers including Céline Dion and direct on-camera commercial with hockey legends Guy Lafleur, Vincent Damphousse and Jean Pronovost

Roger owes his inspiration to a time when he was assistant to author, award-winning film composer and visionary Paul Hoffert (co-founder of the group Lighthouse). He soon went on to score his own music soundtracks for numerous films and television series (CBC’s Adrienne Clarkson Presents was an early highlight). He currently has over 1,000 SOCAN registered music works to his credit for PBS, TVOntario, TFO, HGTV, and the Life Network. Performers on his soundtracks include Toots Thielemans, Kevin Breit, Carol Welsman, The Faith Chorale, Hugh Marsh, Kim & Jackie Richardson and European French star Natasha St-Pier.

In 2014, he composed and produced the music score for the feature film “The Masked Saint” directed by Warren P. Sonoda. He was nominated for Best Score for this original soundtrack at the Orlando International Film Festival where the film won for Best Picture.

More recently, he scored the animated film MEN OF MIGHT -The Warrior King,  for executive producer and former Major League Baseball star, Carlos Peña.

St-Denis is a recipient of the CBC/Radio-Canada Prix Marcel Blouin for “Best Recording of the Year” and his song “Sous tout les climats” was previously nominated for L’Hymne des Jeux de la Francophonie.

He runs a boutique service company and exclusive, state-of-the-art private studio in Toronto, where his company offers expert delivery in the areas of French Radio/TV Direction, French Radio/TV/Film Voice Overs, Music Composition & Production, and Full Service Recording Studio.
